I wanted to use this steampunk horse (which I was dismayed to realize was very minimally rigged) and I love every movie that's western-ish sci-fi... Cowboys vs. Aliens, Wild West, Firefly... sigh. Even Tatooine, with the droid at the bar, is inspirational :-D This is loosely named after James Coburn, because he would have been an awesome voice for this robot, and I adore him in Cat Ballou.
