Description
I don't usually share a lot about my personal life. I figure that this place is about my art but once and awhile I'm inclined to share; certainly there are others here who clearly lament a time past when "everyone knew everyone". To that end, I'll share a picture I just made with my phone. It's nothing special.
Here's the background. If you've notice that there is a cat named Max in my digital studio you might figure there is a real life Max in my real life. There was until about a year ago. Max died at the grand old age of sixteen. It took me some time to process all of that and a couple of months ago I took the leap and got a pair of sister cats who needed rescuing. They are just about 4 years old. They are named Thelma and Louise. Louise has really taken to teh Mollz and hangs around while I am at my computer. She has discovered that it's nice and warm on top of my box, especially when I'm rendering a picture.😏
Molly's art notes: This picture was made with an I-phone 11 Pro Max and tweaked a bit for a hint of vignette and to reduce it to a reasonable size to share here.

They're both sweet cats but Louis seems to be the one that is bonding to teh Mollz the most firmly. =)

very pretty cat and capture. "the very last time" that I had a cat was in 1985. my son claimed that someone gave the cat to him. we was living in an apartment. I told him if the office discovers the cat, it will be gone to the shelter. sure enough the dang cat was climbing the blind when it was seen by the manager.. they asked for $150 deposit. I politely told her that the cat would be gone the same day. the cat wanted to play in water. it would cause the water dish to be empty. and the commode seats had to be down, or it would splatter the water on the floor. good I was on the ground floor

Heh. Thelma and Louise mess with their water dishes, too. So far, no ventures into the latrine, though. XD Thanks for sharing your reminiscence.

She is a beautiful kitty that matches my wife's lover named Scruffy! He is 18 years old. Amazingly and he loves my wife to pieces. We had to say goodbye to his sister last year, she had become so frail, we couldn't bear to see her suffer so. She was a big white fluffy cat in her prime. I have a picture of her as well as Scruffy on my site here from years ago. My wife and I both love this photo of your Louise! We think she is adorable and as I said at the beginning, an almost perfect match for our Scruffy! Many thanks for sharing her with us here!

Thanks for the comment and you're welcome. I don't usually care to share much of my personal life here; for me, it's about art and art technique. That being said, getting another cat was a bit step, and since she's on my mind so much I thought it'd be nice to share.
Thanks for telling me about Scruffy; sounds like your wife enjoys a relationship with him that is much like my relationship with dear, departed Max. Well. Max lives on as my digital studio cat and Louise keeps me company as I mess with my computer. =)

It is funny how they always pick the place they want to lie at, a dog you can train it to never go near the computer that it is yours, but a cat, give them a inch and they will take a mile. I have said before cats you never own them they just share their life with you, My last cat I shared all of 17 years with her, I miss her.

Thanks for your lovely comment and sharing your experiences. When Max died last year after 16 years of being a close companion I wasn't sure I'd get another. Well. Now I've got to of the lovely little beasts. XD
So right about how independent cats are! They aren't cold and aloof as some maintain but they do operate on their own terms. =)

You are doomed. I wonder not if but when they'll get under your skin. From there on, if you will not obey you will notice the consequences..😂 They will even control you blood pressure, you fridge, your cameras and computers, your ideas and Art.. Unless.., you know what you are doing..
