The door to the casting room opens and Astrid comes striding out. "Mum..." she says as she sees her mother pacing backwards and forwards. Elizabeth Haynes turns and waits, expectation obvious on her face but not daring to push her daughter lest the news be bad. "Mum... I nailed it!" Astrid rejoices and runs forward into her mother's open arms. The two of them hug for a few moments and then part, Astrid's face still full of jubilation. "I totally delivered my lines exactly like I needed to," she says, not caring that she is gloating in front of another would-be actress still waiting to be called in for her audition. "They're gonna let me know by the end of next week. I reckon I've got a main part for sure!" "That's wonderful, love!" Elizabeth catches the enthusiasm fully exuding from her daughter. "Come on, let's go celebrate... I hear Manchester's got some great places to get lunch." Astrid and her mother link arms and begin to make their way out of the building, chatting animatedly and excitedly.
