My name is April O'neil. I am a reporter for Channel 6. Lately, I was investigating on a mysterious new crime syndicate, called "The Foot", that has appeared recently in the city. I must have asked too many questions or questionned the wrong people, because tonight, when I was leaving work for home, I have been surrounded by a band of men wearing dark outfits and cowls. They looked oddly like ninjas, some of them even wielding katanas. They were clearly not here to chat, but I'll probably never know if they were just sent to intimidate me or to kill me, because before the first one could strike me, four... individuals, have interposed between me and the criminals. I know now that those who saved me were there to rescue me and that they are actually very friendly, but when they first appeared, I ignored if I should be more scared by the men from The Foot, or by my rescuers. _________________________________________ Here is something I have never done before, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (simply called "Tortues Ninjas" in France) picture. Little Benjamin was a huge fan of the show and movies (even the third one, I enjoyed it) and I was drawing the turtles all the time, back in the days. ^^ I had this Turtle morph and models by Joequick (that you can find for free at ShareCG) for years but I have never used it until now. The Foot outfit is also a freebie by Joequick. Coming back to the Turtles, the original morph was for G1 but by using my super-duper technique to convert any Character to G8 (you can find the tutorial here: https://www.deviantart.com/mekheke/art/How-To-Convert-Any-Genesis-Characters-Into-G8-866171467), I have been able to convert it to, well, G8. The texture is not the original one, but is coming from Kappa by RawArt3d . The shells are coming from the original G1 model, but I have used the textures from another Joequick turtle character, Storybook Turtle, to modernise them. I have chosen to not add irises to the Turtles because I have always found it looked cool. ^^ For April, she has an original morph. I have used screenshots from the cartoon as reference to make her. She is not perfect, but I think I have captured her look well enough. I did her jumpsuit myself too (which is still a WIP actually). Once again, it is inspired by the look in the cartoon. It is tricky to make because it has a lot different pieces of fabric. Anyway, I hope you liked the picture. :) I have actually never read a TMNT comic book. I have heard that "The Last Ronin" storyline was excellent, so I should try to put my hands of it one of these days.
