I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

It is a very clear and concise render! I'm impressed! I only noticed tonight that there is a Poser 13 out now! Boy have I fallen behind the times! Poor 'Head Cleaner'! I hope she manages to find a way to cover herself and come out smelling like a rose for future episodes! I'm rooting for her bigly!

Upgrading to Poser 13 is pretty affordable and the rendering engine seems better and I was pretty happy with P12's version of Superfly Cycles. I'll keep mentioning my experience with P13 as I plan to use it as much as I can. The main thing is all the old legacy content still works just fine (so far >.< ).
The Feds watching "Headcleaner" is concerning but consider this: They are the good guys. You may remember that there was a hint of how it will be from the bad guys here: Anzhela Kropuskov ponders

Might be someone else watching from the shadows as well.... (wink)...
P-13 is sounding better and better.. I'm using P-12 on this machine (won it in a contest here sometime ago), P-11 on a laptop, and PP2014 on another laptop and desktop. Yes, I'm nuts... 😆
Great work on your story, Molly! I need to get off my butt and work on mine!
MollyFootman
Thanks, Rod. From what I gather you have plenty going on in your life and are entitled to be a bit nuts. XD I am not sure about my P12 Python scripts which I used a lot; haven't tried to reinstall those yet. =/ There's no doubt in my mind that the rendering engine (Superfly Cycles X; Firefly is unchanged) is greatly improved and backward compatibility is as it always has been. =)

Thank you, my dear! I try to avoid blank expressions and I'm delighted you enjoyed the subtle expression I put on her face. =)

There we are - she is spying out by that stutterer Tom. It lets me smile!
MollyFootman
=) These are the good guys and, yes, I meant for Tommy's problem with stuttering to be a bit of comic relief; he's a brilliant hacker but not very conventional. I have yet to reveal the bad guys, but I suggested them in a previous picture.

The saga continues...new characters and faces.
Good to hear that Poser 13 plays nice with textures and legacy assets. nothing worse than an upgrade that wrecks tried and true favorites. DAZ's new approach to geo shells is one such example.
MollyFootman
Yes, I introduced the feds a while back after Lena's interview and I thought we should check in on them. =)
As for backward compatibility and DAZ Studio, DAZ has a different marketing strategy: they don't charge up front for the rendering program but they need you to buy their content. On the whole, it would seem more successful than the strategy for Poser but it will cause DAZ to feel much less concern about "breaking" compatibility with old content. =\
