I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

Thanks, Barb. All that goes to the fine props from ShaaraMuse3D. =D

MollyFootman
Thanks for commenting. It's a freebie found here at Renderosity by Kalebdaark. XD

Quite the drama - classic sci-fi re-imagined. One thing i noticed - no smoke from the engine's dtive blast, or plasma, or whatnot. A good thing:)
Like the beam from the ship's defensive (or offensive) battery. looks classic lazer...
Fun as always Molly!
MollyFootman
I considered smoke with all the explosions and such and decided against it. Mainly, I was just looking for stuff that emitted light and was easy to use so ShaaraMuse3D won out over the tons of stuff in teh library of teh Mollz XD
Mainly I was curious to see what I could do without messing about too much with this nice model. I've always been a fan of retro sci fi going back to the original chapter plays of Flash Gordon and Buck Rodgers (I think both starred Buster Crabbe, a really handsome devil!). I did start a comic book style story using that sort of setting a while back but ran afoul of the TOS. >.<

Sounds like it's time to find that warp-speed button!
You really did a great job on this exciting scene, Molly!
MollyFootman
Heh. This kind of space ship predates "warp speed"! Thanks for the lovely encouragement, my dear!
On another note, I just downloaded P13 and it does certainly support all my legacy content; it uses Poser unimesh just as P12 does. I have to work with it a bit but it seems like Superfly is faster. More to follow... =)

I was wondering if it would still support the legacy stuff. That's good news! Although with the luck I've been having lately, I'm a little hesitant to try anything with the number 13.... LOL!

You have varity of talents.

Wow! Like a scene right out of the 1980s campy movie, 'Flash Gordon!' Loving the special effects and spaceship! A wondrous and splendid image! Really rocks the scales bigly, Molly! A very large spaceship full of praises for this most successful creation!

Thanks! It's really a pretty simple freebie prop from Kalebdaark here at Renderosity. I did a little retexturing on it and had a great time surrounding it with peril. Someone over at DA thought it looked like the spaceships from the movie you menti8on. I only remember the movie vaguely but seem to recall some excellent music by Queen in the sound track. XD

YEAH! There ya go! This is why I make my freebies.
MollyFootman
And I'm grateful that you make such fun content available! Thanks for taking a look and I hope you will continue to share your creativity! <3

"Savage Splendor vol 2" will drop into freestuff soon. Have fun with that too.
MollyFootman
Oh boy! I still haven't had a chance to mess with the first "Savage Splendor"! I'll be watching for it! =D
