Description
She listened to the music of the night city, her natural environment.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 13.0.287 using the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine with some noise reduction, increased exposure and bloom; and, then tweaked a bit in Photoshop for a slight vignette. The character, Nightfall, is mine. She first appeared 10 years ago and I have updated her look slightly. She is based on the Dawn SE mesh. I am thinking on doing some pictures or a story with her.

Thank you for the encouragement! I've already done a story with her 10 years ago that I never quite finished. I enjoy Silver Age style stories of vigilantes and meta human heroes and should probably do a bit more of that. =)

Thanks, I took a particularly long time working out the lighting, JD. I like contrasting shadows that lend mood and accentuate the shape of my subjects face.
As for my normal track, this was what I was mostly doing 10 years ago. I had 4 of 5 parts of a story featuring her and another vigilante completed (about a hundred pages) before I ran out of steam. I though maybe it was time to update her look with my newly honed skills and improved version of Poser and maybe a story or maybe not. =)

When you say story, Molly was it prose or graphic? I love stories :)

There's a link to the beginning of it in my explanatory text above, JD. It was done in comic book/graphic novel style. I've improved with layout and speech balloon and such over the years but I flatter myself to say that it was pretty good and has held up well. That being said, I feel like I am a much better 3D artist these days. XD

Thanks, JD. I had a lot more energy then but a lot less skill. >.< I may get to a story for the character and I have quite a pantheon of costars. I'm delighted you think the story is pretty good, JD. That's the sort of thing that increases my enthusiasm for committing to the work involved. XD

Thank you for your very kind words. You can see the story I did (graphic novel format) if you follow the link in my descriptive link. We'll see if I can muster the energy to do a new story. I'm certainly better with the tools I use to make images now than I was 10 years ago when I originally conceived the character. ;-)

The character is out of 2014, obviously a little bit older :-) But very attractive and it will be a promising thrilling story. I'm looking forward to it.

Thank you, Randy! I value your comment all the more because you are so good at developing metahuman heroic characters. Nightfall isn't metahuman but she fits into that comic book style that you are so good at. I guess she's a bit like Batman (only prettier XD). I always enjoy hearing from you! =)
