Description
~Silent Hill~
My homage to one of my favorite horror movies: Silent Hill (2006), where Cybil Bennett (Laurie Holden) wore one of the kinkiest leather police uniforms ever. I lost count how many times I have watched that movie with my wife, and it never gets old. It's a testament of excellent writing, direction, SFX, and acting, where each monster was unique and frightening on it's own way. The sexy dead nurses were so iconic that they became Halloween cosplay. If you like horror movies, and you haven't watched this one, I strongly recommend - it has a bit of everything! Pose and framing established in Poser, rendering in Stable Diffusion, postwork in Paintshop.

I agree, and I remember the character; she was fearless. More horrific than H.P. Lovecraft

One curious thing about the first monster that appears right in front of Laurie was that it was NOT CGI. It was played by an acrobatic actress whose moves were so unreal that people believed it couldn't be done by a person in a suit. Maybe it's just me, but the more practical effects they use, the better the movie looks, like Star Wars from 1977, or Alien from 1979. ^____^

Loved this movie ever since I saw it in the cinema. Couldn't wait to get it on DVD after that. Likewise, I'd recommend it to anyone into horror movies that hasn't seen it yet.

Even though I have watched it many times, it is still scary every time. My wife is a big fan of Alice Maud Krige, who has also played the Borg Queen in Star Trek. She does a wonderful job in this movie. My favorite part is when the sirens go off, and it gets pitch black - what an iconic moment in horror movie history! ^____^
