Looks great, I am tempted to take a dip in AI.

Thanks! Next month it's going to be 1 years since I made by first image with AI, and it came a long way. Amazing to see that less than a year ago, none of this existed, and look how far it came. It evolves so fast, my head is still spinning! ^__^

Oh wow. How hard is it to start and how effective is using poser characters as a template?

Well, when I got started with AI last year, you needed to know Python programming to do anything with it, but that's no longer the case nowadays. Things now have graphical interfaces, as opposed to typing instructions in a command line prompt. It's much easier to learn it now than it was when I did. What does take time to learn is how to create good text prompts. That's the heart & soul of AI image generation. In addition, when I got started, there was only 1 or 2 AI models, but now there are thousands, which can be a bit overwhelming. It took me a long time to build my AI models library, where each one is good for a specific art style or content. Each AI model responds differently to words we use in prompts, so that can take a while to figure out by trial and error.
The ability to use Poser to drive the AI only came out a few months ago, thanks to the ControlNet plugin for Stable Diffusion, so you can say all of this is still brand new. It is now possible to use Poser to establish the character shape, pose and framing we can customize and render in SD. I am still refining this pipeline, and I have found others online who are doing the same. This eliminates the random nature of AI image generation, giving us much better control. I have created a Poser plugin to export poses from Poser to SD, bridging the gap between them. It is useful in some conditions, but not in others. This is all still rather new, so I am still figuring out what's the best way to approach it. ^____^

Well that's good to know, and thank you for your input. I've looked at some YouTube videos on instaiiing SD, I see what you mean about your command prompts.
I was also wondering if you will be coming out with more Daz to Poser scripts in the near future. I have so many of your scripts that really help my work out in Poser. I convert a lot of Daz scenes and vehicles but I still have to manually plug in the nodes in Poser Material room. I was just wondering and thanks for your work.

So far, I made plugins to convert DS native DUF props, figures, morphs, materials, and poses to Poser format. For the first two, things were quite complex to figure out because Poser makes a clear distinction between what is a prop (PP2) and what is a figure (CR2), even storing them at different library locations, while in DS they are all one and the same. Even scenes (PZ3) and materials (MC6) in DS are all one and the same when it comes to how they are stored. It doesn't provide an identifier for anything, and all files have the same file extension. And what's worse, they establish rules to how to save a DUF file, but they often break their own rules. The result is people saving a scene or sub-scene collection as if it were a prop, and DS couldn't care less. I never noticed those things until I made the DUF Prop converter, and had to look under the hood! LOL
I have 2 brand new plugins that keep being halted by Poser bugs that prevent them from working, and since Bondware has been working on the Mac Poser version since March, they have been putting me on hold since then. It's an exporter that cannot export, and a loader that cannot load. LOL I even got them to at least look at one of the bugs, but they said it was way more complex than they thought, so they had it postponed until the Mac Poser version is released. Until they fix Poser, there isn't much I can do about it. It has been 4 months already, and we have to be patient.🙂

I have and love the prop, morph, fig to prop, and several more of your plugins. They rock and I appreciate what you've done. I just wish Daz wouldn't cut Poser off with the bridges they offer to other 3d software. I am determine to make Poser shine with the vendors like yourself and assets from Daz.
I know Mac users are waiting for Poser 13 to drop so I understand and am grateful for what we have so far. So until you get the break through with your 2 plugins I'll de here trying to make Poser Pop. Thanks so much, have a good one.
