I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

The girls look good in those high heeled boots and matching outfits. Good light and poses, too. I'm fascinated and intrigued by the hint of red landscape in the background, too. Good work!

Fantastic work, and I for one am glad you're still here!

Yes! Stand your ground! Your work with the TNA girls is very unique. I think it is the kind of thing that embodies the spirit of this community and why sharing in the first place, art with meaning!
I’m trying new ways browse, this week I did a different thing: clicked on my following list, then went from there, just clicking the people I follow, I wish there was a direct link to peoples galleries there.

I fully agree with you my dear RodS friend, if we still do what we do it is out of pure passion. Great job as always my dear friend.👍🙋♂️

My commenting will be erratic for a while whether I like it or not, due to both physical and mental health problems. The mental health issue is the main one where comments are concerned; sometimes I pull up an image and try and type something, then I just can't bring myself to type anything and close the tab. This happens with images I like, not just images I don't like, so it's annoying. Ugh.
Combine that with the sometimes erratic notification system on Renderosity and it does mean people will hear less from me. Plus of course I think everybody has limited time and energy for that kind of thing and the larger number of images here (especially the easy-to-create AI stuff) means that most of us will be getting fewer comments as the available energy is spread over more images.
But if we make art for comments then we probably won't make very good work; a desire to make decent images will take us all much further than any desire for popularity. Thanks for reminding us of that and please keep posting. I personally do want to see your stuff even if sometimes I am not great at saying anything. Especially the TNA stuff!

Good to see your art today!

being here since 2003, I think I am here for the long haul also. seen so many leave the galleries, and I miss them

We're getting together with bmac62 (Bill) and auntietk (Tara) the 25th. Happily, they live here in the KC area. They are members from the "good ol' days!"

Nice dressing for the girls! Of course everyone will be happy to read some comments on their hard work done. I appreciate the work of others as these are inspiring me or give me an idea of what I would (try to) do different or simply enjoy what I see. But for me personally commenting is hard work too by trying to find the right words: not mistaken / not annoying / short. (writing these lines took me so long that I got a "session timeout" -- what a shame) Please continue doing what you like most.

Yes! Stand your ground brother because your work with the TNA girls is very unique one!!! I stand my ground too! I do graphics that I still enjoy and that my eyes, which have suffered badly from the Covid, and also my right hand, which has been full of gout lately, still allow me to do! If you don't want to look at my AI's, don't look at them! As Richard said above, I miss our good old friends too!

i don't talk to anyone here that much, if at all, on any kind of regular basis. there were one or two folks that i spoke with a little more regularly not too long ago, but they have since left Rendo to post elsewhere due to several reasons, much like what you're talking about and feel frustrated by. that forum thread a fair number of months ago regarding potential improvements and changes here had given me some hope as it felt as if we were being heard, but maybe we weren't heard by the 'right' person[s]? and now even more folks have headed to fairer climes. good to hear you're standing, Rod. i'd say i'll stand shoulder to shoulder with you, but i'm usually shorter than most folks, so that might not be possible... lol but i'll stand with ya... ;)

Excellent image - the girls look like they mean business! :)

Mmmmm. Love me some armed cuties.

Oh, just wait, bro! You ain't seen nothin' yet! 😉
Good to see you're still hanging in there with us!👍

I hear you and share many your points. I'm starting to feel there is not much future for many 3d artist here. And like you I post here out of passion and to encourage Poser users, I guess time will tell. Nice poses with the girls will see what you have in store for them.

yeah comments are so rare, even some of my long time friends rarely come by. but either title is fine with me Rod. nice outfits on your gals. im getting as few of comments when i first started posting here. i'll always be here for you my friend.
OmniFX
Beautiful gals and stunning colorful outfits. Excellent and glamorous pose and expression. They are fantastic. Glad to hear you will be hanging in there.
I try to comment on everyone's images that comment on mine when I find the time. I feel it is only polite to return the favor.

Hey Rod
I'm 100% with you and sadly me too have somewhat lost the muse to dig through the heaps of quick AI-crap, just to find the 3D Gems (in which I actually am interested) buried unter it and my time on commenting decreased significantly. So I'm guilty as well of being lazy in browsing and commenting (my bad). I really wish, RENDERosity, would make a separate gallery for all AI-images and for all 3d Renders and would add powerful filters, to help us do find, what we are looking for. Unfortunately, this is a long formulated wish, which is unheard still and so my time spend on Renderosity decreased dramatically - and so did my commenting and my posting.
How ever, though I know, that you are used to get a lot of comments, I guess only my best works ever reached significantly more than 10-12 comments ever - even in the best times.
But as you said, I'm not posting here for the hunt of comments, then still it somehow hurts, to see a Render, that took me hours (if not days with all the iterations until I'm somewhat satisfyed with it) being buried by a load of cheaply created AI-Stuff, eithin the next two hours.
But as you: I'm still here, even if not so often anymore (where should I go anyway, since it is the same lament on all Arts platforms, no matter if you switch to Deviantart or Artstation or what ever they are called.
So I stay here too, and every now and then, I'm dropping by and with a bit of luck, I find some great works to comment on.
Keep on doing the great stuff!
MajinBoo
I know exactly where you're coming from. There are quite a few artists like yourself who I try to follow here but life in general, stress and exhaustion from work really take away from me sitting and commenting like I used to. I used to get frustrated sometimes with the lack of comments or feedback in general from my work. Not just here but on other sites whether DeviantArt, Twitter, etc. But luckily, I have my family and friends who like and encourage me with my work. Site members like yourself that comment all make a difference. I just keep going and I tell myself this more about sharing my work for anyone to see but even if nobody says anything I still feel like I accomplished something just by completing an image. Sometimes it just takes one good reaction to one of pieces to make it all worthwhile.
STEVIEUKWONDER
I wish I could improve your viewing figures, Rod, because, I for one really like viewing your incredible art. Your girls are always tastefully attired and there's a story attached too! Hope your plans to move are becoming a reality also. Steve

I fully understand about everything you mentioned above Rod, I myself am guilty of not visiting and commenting on this site as often as I once used to. Changes in the way people view and comment on art have changed with time, not just on this site but on every other art site that I have been on.
There is something to be said about AI art and that has had an effect on viewership and some artist leaving the site for good. My prediction is...why do regular human generated art when you can choose to do AI art and avoid the learning curve and machine requirements that come with it. Perhaps in time, the AI algorithm will be trained to leave comments on all human type of art that gets uploaded to this site. "lol" :-)
RodS
The only AI I've tried messing with is the AI in the Photoshop Beta. I've done a couple little tricks like extending the foreground of one of my photos to make room for a girl and car rendered in Poser. That's how I will use it - as PART of my toolset to enhance PART of the final image. I. E. MY art, not it's art. 😉
Perhaps we should train an AI algorithm on how to run a planet (ours) without destroying it... Humans have failed miserably at that for centuries...

Unbelievable outstanding glamorous composition, superb environment and lighting, gorgeous outfits and assets, brilliant awesome render.
Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it! T.N.A. bombshells always rock hard!😊💝🥰

It's summer, views and comments go up and down. Brilliant image of the girls.
RodS
Indeed... Definitely summer here... We've broken records for temps / heat indexes for the last several days. The lawn will be un-mowed for a while... 😉
Radar_rad-dude
A splendid presentation of the ladies, Rod! They look like they are ready to kick --- and take names! LOL! Marvelous work and a very fine rant that I enjoyed reading! Sorry I don't always comment right away.
RodS
Thanks, Bill! And no problem, buddy! I think they're going to kick MY --- if I don't get going on the story. I am working on it in bits and pieces...

on the image...sweet 'encasing' of your big 3: They're in shadow, and also light (the shadow kinda feels like your frustration, as it should). And their faces have a bit of disappointment but also a "put up or shut up" air. It's a fine, expressive image. I even love the snippet of street or park in the background in orange night light. Sweet! But your portrait is poised and posed in your usual fine fashion, Ar and K each facing out, while G4 faces us. You have 3 colors, similar outfits but 3 very individual poses, all contained in that little nook, as if to say 'we haven't gone anywhere, we're still here...looking out on everyone...'
I"m sorry for your frustration. The painful thing about these galleries is that things shift, there are mass exoduses, beloved artists no longer show...and then some artists are just artists (ie, not great comment-writers), and then there are those who do feel comfortable with words, but don't write much. A fact which changes over time, with this time being a much more sparse one...And, unlike a physical gallery---which is curated meticulously---galleries like this are open to the whole universe, so you'll be up against the oceans of new trends, of artists who post 40 images at once (and all the same) and so on. You just have to eek out your prized connections through the din. All I can say is, you've given a world here, and were one of those special ones who kept the flame alit, and I'm very grateful you're still here, Rod. (You're doin' a lot better at that than I am!) And then, you have many things to finish outside of RR, and I wish you all the best in finishing them. Maybe when you're moved, the site will have shifted once more, bringing more connection and closeness once again...In the meantime, thanks for staying on; and your die-hard fans really care, that's apparent from the comments you get not to mention how some of you share characters, ideas, etc. They haven't left. Thanks for staying on, Rod, the place is so much better because of it. And again, I wish you all the best with your moving, etc...

I'm trying to get back, feeling down and buried in projects. Some are getting done and others do seem to take forever. And then i lost inspiration for daz. They are giving bad weather the next few days, maybe I'll do something in daz. Hold on Rod.

amazing trio! cool weapons!

Nice work on tis, the girls look great , and I hear you about the discouraging nature of comments; a Skytown page that takes several weeks work only gets a dozen or so looks these days, but as you say that's not why we do it...
