I'm sorry... I HAD to do this.....It was jumping around in my head, and it wouldn't let me sleep. I kept hearing funny crunching sounds in my mind (what's left of it..). Then I saw this image of the fuzzy blue guy, and I knew I was gonna have to either do this, or try to find an open bakery at 03:36 in the freakin' morning! So here it is for your cookie-mongering and viewing enjoyment! Sheesh. After seeing all the cookies being grabbed over the last couple of days, I thought of this guy, and said to myself: "I gotta do this.... 😋." For those of you visiting from another planet, this is Cookie Monster who first appeared as one of Jim Henson's famous - and delightful - Muppets. I used a reference image of this character, and did a quick bit o'fiddling in Photoshop with my old but faithful Cintique. It's been a while since I've played like this in PS, and it was fun! Hope you enjoy! Especially you, MajinBoo! This is all your fault, you know... 🤣. Now I need a cookie! Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you wish to leave. I appreciate them all! thanks to majinboo from me too---love to see your 2D art again! You did a perfect job with C.Monster. The fingers are perfect (CMonster had very expressive fingers, fur and all), the skewed eyes, the big rolly polly body, kicking it up...and the cookie, and the blue..

And you got cravings for cookies at 3 in the morning??? Ain't that the worst? I"m downtown Chicago, there are places you can get food at this hour (if you dare go out at this hour), but the last time I pigged out in the middle of the night was eons ago, where we'd get 16-dozen dunkin' donuts, and pig out till 4 a.m. But at this age? (We're almost identical, you and me) Chowing down on 200 chips ahoy at 3 am---even at 2 PM---is the kiss of death! I'd be unconscious for days---glad you could do art instead! I's great to see your drawing again, Rod: People gotta remember that you did photography and drawing, etc, for a long, long time. Wonderful piece. As R. Crumb would say, "Keep on truckin'..." All the best to you! And stay outa the heat this week! Stay well, Rod, it's always a pleasure to come back to your gallery once more...
