Description
Here we have an automotive test run for Radar featuring the simple beauty of the '52 Hudson. The textures are superb, with sub-divisions allowing for substitution, including the license plate which stages nicely with jpegs of historical tags. I use tags from my own vehicles, but did not do so here. The car is strictly 'out of the box' which is fine for most any render as the historically correct correct color schemes are gorgeous and diverse.
Doors and trunk (boot) open, and the head and interior light can be turned on as a unit.
It's available on Renderhub.
Enjoy Radar!

I took my driving test in a 1952 Hudson Hornet. Looked just like this one, only a different color. They were used in racing a lot because the underslung frame made them good in the corners, plus the straight 6 was a pretty good engine.

Indeed tuvoc - straight sixes were staples in the day. My only sorta contemporary to the Hudson is a 1953 Triumph TR2 - a little different sort of machine. Next closest was a 1948 Jaguar 3.5 Liter saloon. 125 HP straight six that seems lame by today's standards, but not so bad in .48 :) Still, the Hudson really has a look. Would be a fun car if not for the wackadoodles on today's roads.

Thanks Radar - the car isn't mine. I actually spun it out of the box - no texture tweaks at all.
Stormrider75
Hi, the car outshines the whole scene :)

It does Storm - the scene is only a backdrop.

Wonderful composition and render...and that car!

Thanks blu - the '52 Hudson was a beast in a time of beasts. Body styles changed very quickly thereafter.

Wow! The textures and lighting are superb! I've been inspired by Rad's automotive posters but I'd have to say that exceeds anything I've managed (and what I've managed is pretty good! XD ). Of course, I love the feeling of time and place in the setting and the costuming, too! Wonderful picture that was a pleasure to view. =)
