Description

This an earlier version of a rather old post featuring Ellie from The Last of Us taking a well need break from her pursuit of Abbey Anderson while an unnamed chance encounter stands watch with her Japanese Type 99 LMG.

Thanks mif - the lady with the LMG will take anything she can send down the tube. 7.7mm Japanese ammo is tough to find after the apocalypse. :)

Thanks gaius and I too loved the games and even the adaptation. Naughty Dog has a gift for drawing you into their characters and stories while offering a lot of gameplay. There will be a third TLOU game - might take awhile. Then again, how long did it take for Bioshock Infinite and Cyberpunk 2077?

I loved the game! The movie was pretty good too! However I hope that if they make a sequel to the move the Last of Us, I hope they don't mirror the second part of the video game. Part two of the video game sucked.

The two games were quite different, and my understanding is the HBO series will follow TLOU2 as closely as TLOU1. I think it will take two seasons for TLOU2 because of the POV shifts and all of the backstory and additional characters.

I didn't mind the second game as seeing the world through Abbey's character allowed for a different perspective after she wailed on Joel. You could never forgive her, you could at least understand her rage and how it mirrored Ellie's as the two killed each other's fathers (sort of with Joel) .

It was sort of fun playing the sequence when you are fighting Ellie as you sort of know what she has in terms of weapons and skills yet on more challenging settings it was tricky, at least for me.
