Oh darn. That's just the fish I wanted to catch. How about a catch and release, if I use a net? Nice image
Radar_rad-dude
Thanks so much for the comment! I'm not sure this 'catch' would be too happy with your use of the net! But what do I know? LOL! I'll leave it up to the two of you to sort it out!

Lawd ham mussy!!! That's a mighty fine catch of the day! The setting and lighting are superb, too! If my net happens to accidentally scoop him up, I'll be sure to return him to the water ... eventually!

Many thanks for the fun comment my friend! Muchly appreciated!

He's a great looking merman. Water and light look good, too. I wonder how large a hook is needed to haul him in... good thing there's no fishing there.

Fabulous image, great color and background blend. Nicely done!

Many thanks for the comment and support! I greatly appreciate your kindness in doing so! I love your recent dive into the online video tutorial. I think yours turned out magnificently! I used Photoshop 7 for many years but became frustrated by its inability to handle larger hard drive memories and several other shortfalls. So I was finally able to upgrade to CS5 a few months ago and am happy with that! Thanks for your tip to the learning center! Greatly appreciated!

I've got other bait I can use. Consider yourself caught! Nice image. Great water effects and pose.

I know what you mean by not handling hard drive memories. Photoshop 7 was designed to work with only 1TB or less. If your C: drive is larger than 1TB then you will get the message Scratch Disk is full when you attempt to open it.
There are a couple of fixes. 1st the most difficult and not recommended is to partition your hard drive to smaller memory sizes of 1TB or less. 2nd and the only way I would do it is to get an external drive or flash drive of 1TB or less and plug it into one of my USB ports.
After install Photoshop 7 need to change scratch disk.
After you click on Photoshop 7 to open repeatedly press ctrl and alt immediately. A dialog box will open "Scratch Disk Preferences" change first disk to drive D: The external drive of 1TB or less you plugged in. After Photoshop is open you need to go into edit-preferences>Plug-Ins & Scratch Disk... Change that to drive D: as well. Done;
Of course, Photoshop will be running off the external drive from now on so if it is unplugged it will not work.

Yeah, but just think about those 'bragging rights...' LOL This is really well done, and the water caustics are great! Super work!
Yeah, I remember that bit about PS 7. I upgraded to CC after that, and have never looked back! I'd be lost without Photoshop.... 😜

The underwater atmosphere and light are brilliant Bill.

"What do you mean, no fishing ever allowed here? Can't I take YOU back home?" :P
Nice underwater scene with great sense of depth. Perhaps a few corals and some seaweed to touch it up?
Radar_rad-dude
Wellllll??? That was all there was in the background image! LOL! Just call me a lazy bum and be done with it! Many many thanks for the comment, my friend! Greatly appreciated! And, perhaps if you talk sweetly to the merman, he might just take you up on a trip to your destination. Whether it be the living room or some other unmentioned room in the house! wink wink
