I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

Did you use the LF2 Pose tool for the LF pose before tweaking it?
MollyFootman
I did not! I will have to look into that! Thanks for the tip! <3
I'm just so used to doing it all by hand. XD

I will have to add that poking around in my library I do not find such a tool. =( Any advice on where this tool might be found?

...and now I found the dial in the figure. It doesn't completely eliminate the need for tweaking but it makes it much, MUCH easier!! XD
Thanks again for the tip. So much to learn! =)

No, I do not. Is that possibly is the reason?
MollyFootman
The tool hborre refers to is a morph dial found among the morphs for the body of La Femme Pro 2 under the heading "tools". Using it gets La Femme Pro 2 to get much closer to fully accepting the poses of La Femme. There's also a La Femme shape tool there to play with. =)
I really appreciate hborre's help!

Thank you for advicing, that helps me a lot! I'll try it out and show my result :-)

I am so glad hborre helped us. Good luck, Anne. I hope to see what you decide to share. =)

Good to know. Thank you!

You're welcome, Annie! I'm grateful to hborre for pointing out the very helpful posing tool dial amongst the base body morphs on La Femme Pro 2. I'm always learning!

I have learned that by using the tool, very few (and in some cases none at all) adjustments have to be made. Not sure it has any effect, but I always inject the character at frame 15 - but then again, I also use dynamics at any given chance :D
MollyFootman
Thanks, Cassandra. I am using dynamic clothing more and more and I'm sure I'll find that little tip helpful! <3

I also wasn't using the tools at first. Now I can't be without them, they make things so much easier!
MollyFootman
So true that! Thanks for the comment! =)

Always something. You would think some of the supporting documentation or reviews would note the posing tool, particularly as somebody thought enough of the problem to address it. Similar things occur in DAZ but there are a lot of 'assistance' scripts to convertor zero poses, expressions and clothing that work quite well from Riversoft and RSSY.
One of the reasons we post and comment - to learn and share!
MollyFootman
It IS mentioned but I didn't exhaustively read the documentation and just started playing with my new toys. As I am quite used to hacking and kit-bashing all sorts of supposedly incompatible legacy stuff it never occurred to me that Afrodite-Ohki and the other developers of the figure would have included something to make that easy. >>D'oh!<< XD It's certainly true that I learn a lot from people who are willing to share ideas and techniques (even when they use different tools, many principles remain the same!). =)

Been there with the toys - can't begin to guess how many times I've learned something from scratch, thinking I was quite clever with my solution, only to realize it's old schools stuff well described in earlier forum posts....
Hear ya with the kit bashing....it's all the fun :)
Yup, sharing is the whole point of being here :)

That's right like Jdwtrxk conveyed, sharing ideas with others makes everyone the more enriched. Sharing is caring, thanks for the insight.

Thanks for the encouragement. I can't believe that I'm here showing people how little tweaking is needed to fit LF poses to LF2 and then... there's a tool that automates the process almost 100%. I'm glad hborre so kindly pointed it out to me! XD
