Well I'm a 50 year old guy. Born and raised in Tennessee but I moved out to California in 2009 to be with my fiancé;, now wife Christie or "Varanasi" here on Renderosity. We got married in September 2010. I've been doing web design for about 32 years, 3D and photography for about 320 years. My choice of software to use to create my 3d work is Blender along with Daz Studio. I also use the latest versions of Photoshop to do my post work and I use Substance Painter for textures. I also love to paint using Procreate on my iPad.

Nope, can't watch DVD's and drive. it won't let you. you have to be parked with either the engine off or the emergency break up.

That's reassuring. There was a video system in development that used a HUD and had the illusion of projecting a widescreen image about 20 feet in front of your vehicle... but it was deemed unsafe and the project was scratched as far as I know.

Cell phones are bad enough. I could imagine someone saying, "But officer, I just missed the good part of the movie!" LOL...
Now all you need to do is get the aftermarket kit for the Ecotec. There's gotta be one somewhere. I know theres some stuff for the TwinCam and Quad, but they don't make 'em like they used to.
Me I'm still waiting for the "real" SC/T (Grand Am)... It seems that somebody decided that only the appearance package was good enough for a car that's under 30 grand. But one can hope, riiight?

Dude!! Your car rocks! Say, would you mind IM'ing me the model of your LCD setup? A friend has the Grand Prix GTP. He has one LCD setup on the armrest between the front seats facing backwards. We were trying to find a way to get an LCD in front for road trips without having to make extensive mods to the dash or visor. Again, really cool! =)
