Teresa had read the papers about the new company opening in town, how it promised to supply the city with more new jobs for all types. She had met several of the scientists from the local labs that came into the quick mart where she worked part time. None would talk about what they were working on, just a few comments ever now and then. It seemed they were doing some type of research, for a new cure she guessed because ever now and then they would mention a little bit about a virus, so she assumed they were working on a cure for it. Until some of her friends decided to go up to Harrison Heights and never came back.
