Hi! I'm Hilda Starseer (the first name's real, the surname isn't... hey, it's the internet!).
I'm a 53 y.o. biological female (last time I checked with my gynecologist, my birth certificate, and in the shower) and if you haven't figured it out by now, a Gen-Xer. Now that means I won't purposely go out of my way to offend anyone, but poopoo happens. So if I do wind up offending you with one of my posts... suck it up buttercup, get over it and move on. I don't have the patience or the time to play silly snowflake games. There's an old axiom about how it is wise not to argue with idiots... it'll only bring you down to their level and they'll always win with the advantage of experience.
What my ultimate goal is, is to become the best story writer / illustrator I can. And from what I've heard through my friends that have been Renderosity members for years, that this is the place where that can happen. So, I'm looking forward to everybody's comments, critiques and advise that I receive. (I almost said tips there instead of advise until I realized the "Tip Button" and what it is for... hey, don't get me wrong, it will definitely be appreciated, but definitely is not expected.)
So to everyone that has been welcoming me to the site, it is greatly appreciated and I hope I can deliver on what you may be expecting.

The interaction between Kara and the owl was quite nice. Seems old Po is not phased by much of anything, even telepathic birds. 😆 Keep up the good work.

Thank you, Po is kinda/sorta based on my own grandfather... seems like nothing phased him and even if it did, he wasn't going to give you the satisfaction of knowing.

The original model only came with brown textures... amazing what greyscale in GIMP can do on occasion. Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it.

As I said previously, I kinda/sorta based him on my own grandfather. Like him, Po has been there, done that and/or seen it all. And even though blind (like my grandfather, who lost his eyesight through a job accident), he can spot a load of BS a mile away. Nothing much surprises him any more. And again, if it does, he won't give you the satisfaction of knowing it.

The world of Arkesia is filled with both magical and mystical things, people and places... where you may find knights in shining armor to steam/cyberpunk things like hoverboards. This is one of the many reasons I like the game Lost Ark so much.
