Description

2023 hasn't exactly been the most salubrious of years around the world, for many reasons, so time for a brief moment of reflection and a deep breath before plunging into what looks like an equally challenging 2024. To all my rendo friends, wishing you and yours a peaceful solstice and the best for the coming year.

I'm presently having a few quiet thoughts about how beautiful this young lady is, as well as the whole scene here! I love it!

2023 has indeed been a memorable year - mostly not in a good way. Endless wars, crime rates going out the roof, political hopefuls fighting and squabbling like a bunch of 4-th graders, and on and on. 2024 looks like more of the same. I guess we'll see.

Anyway, this is a gorgeous artwork! May your 2024 be a good one!

Thanks for all you've shared, Joe. It's always a pleasure to view your posts. In this one, I particularly like the halo of hair due to lighting from behind; very nice! Sometimes a simple image can be the most beguiling. =)

You are right and although 2024 appears that our challenges will continue hopefully it is a step towards finding sanity on our planet once more.
