Description

Hogan Oxford, is the founder and leader of the team. He gets his name, "Mandate," from two sources. One being his suit of armor, which is known as the "Mandate Armor," which he had before ever gaining super-powers. How he obtained it or how it was created is a mystery, it is just assumed that he got it from his time as a C.I.T.A.D.E.L. operative, or as a spoil from some adventure. The armor is inspired somewhat as a cross between Mandalorian armor, and Iron Man armor complete with a double-bladed energy sword as his primary weapon. The second origin of his name comes from his particular power given to him by the "Manpower Chip" in his head, which is the ability to make any living thing follow his commands through expressed "mandates." He has to actively choose to emphasize the commands though, as not every word he speaks is an absolute to be followed. This keeps his power in check so as to not be total mind control at all times, and makes it so that he cannot abuse his power and be corrupted by it, as his is probably the most potent out of the entire team. Although, as stated above, they are a family, and would not abuse their powers that way, yet having limitations helps in keeping that promise a reality.
