Description

Hi guys....dropping by to let you know I am still here and trying to keep my hand in....will be dropping in to catch up a bit in the next few days, lot has happened, my Dad passed yesterday and well...it is what it is :( nuff said. I have been dropping by and looking at your uploads as a visitor and have seen a couple of works that inspired me and so I have decided that since I will not be here full time for my reasons I will be here on and off infrequently with a new series called, if you have not guess yet my new series is called 'Inspired by...' and kalebdaark is first cab off the rank....have 2 more artists I am looking at adding to this series so far cause whatever keeps me busy is good :) So this one was inspired by kalebdaark and the work was 'Post-apocalyptic El Paso Street Scene (panorama)' I read all the steps and processes endured to create such a great image by kalebdaark and thought to myself, I might try that kinda thing in Daz3d cause why not ??? All rendered in Daz, lights, fx, everything then bought the 14 layers into Photoshop and this is the result. Hope you like the scene, kitbashed from poser and Daz3d, all characters G8M and F and a G3M and no AI at all ever. Thanks for dropping by and your time here....I really appreciate it and will be on and off infrequently for now but when on I will catch up with the best you have and when here I will only be looking at who has visited and activity feed so I will be dropping out some who I wish not to follow for various reasons in the weeks that follow, nothing personal but to stay here I need to see the best people can do for my muse and inspiration and no hard feelings, doesn't mean that I wont drop by your gallery, just not into it all the time right now is all and if you find my work the same, all good :) Be kind, be free and peace :)

This is terrific, and really looks awesome when you "open full image in a new tab". Really allows you to appreciate all that went into this creation. I can imagine all the hard work and hours you put into this project. Excellent lighting, effects and atmosphere. Kudos! Glad to hear you will be sticking around.

My condolence's for your dad.

Thank you and start to finish was around 20 hours, laying the scene out took the most time and ensuring the camera never moved the slightest but was fun to do :)

Thank you and your kind words and practice, learn, watch tutorials and experiment outside the scope of the props, scene and program is how I do it. I see a scene is without limits until I try to create it :)

My deepest condolences for your loss, my friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

This is really outstanding work - the scene is very cinematic. You've nailed the lighting and atmosphere.

I'm so glad you've decided to not leave us permanently! Those periods come and go.. God knows I've had my share over the years. It's discouraging to see some of the stuff going on here, but we must persevere. I'm glad you are!

Awesome for the sheer numer of characters and the vast panorama of the aspect ratio. Lots of obvious work involved and this would make a greatwall poster. Post apoc is a great genre to create in. So many possibilities.

I like this, lots of visual interest. I have those building sets too and have occasionally put them to use as they render well. The bridge tower to the right places this in NYC maybe, and the guy on the lower right talking to the platinum blonde looks a bit like Darryl Dixon from Walking Dead. Basically, a bunch of bikers blowing off some steam in cyberpunk or post-apocalyptic setting. They don't look like hostiles; they look more like a bunch having fun after a long ride. My kinda storyline.

General rule for life: with tough looking characters, look how they treat their ladies, but don't put yourself in a position where the guys need to "show off" for their gals at your expense. If they have none at all around, stay away too and leave 'em alone. One of 'em is a girl doing bike tricks, so that gives me the "fun times" vibe.

Also, sorry to hear about your pop. Been there, done that. Know that he is now beyond any earthly concerns.

Thanks for dropping by and having a peek and yes that is Daryl from Walking dead, and I was going for a fun and time out kinda scene but without your post 'Post-apocalyptic El Paso Street Scene (panorama)' I never would have even thought of doing something like this so thank you for your fine art work and the inspiration it gave me :)

Your General rule of life definition is spot on as well :)

First of all, my condolences for the loss of your dad my friend.

You have attained a very intricate creation with so many layers at play, I only wish I could do what you have accomplished here in an animation without my PC burning up or just exploding from the render duties such an image would bring. I like my PC too much and would not torture it like that for fear that it just may happen! lol

I like all the characters interacting in such an interactive and dynamic way...the whole composition looks amazing! This type of setting would be great in a zombie apocalyptic kind of scene. I think it's a great idea for you to do this "inspired series" since most of us are inspired by so many on this site in one way or another. Keep up the great work it's all looking awesome!

This is an instant favorite with me! :-)
