Hi, from South Texas.
I like to swim, play cards and play on this computer with all sorts of programs. I am also an avid reader, mostly fiction.
I am glad you stopped by.....hope you will take time to look at my gallery. As a side note, I am honored to have been chosen as Artist of the Month for December 2022. Thanks to all that voted.

Great image. Nice work. Looks pretty fiery inside. And there's a crack, so...cover your head. And maybe run. Or in this case swim!

(btw, your current images of the cross on a hill are beautiful, mysterious and evocative...I'm sorry I'm stuck several days back in your gallery, but I saw everything to the present, and was touched by them equally...those were powerful and timeless-feeling images for the holiday)
This is a real splash of an image. I can see how the sunbeam image fed into this, because of all the splash imagery and the beautiful strains flying all over the place. The idea itself is terrific, you turned an old phrase (tempest in a teapot) into a cosmic burst, with wonderful splashes of water below, and against a stark black background. It feels cosmic, and the fire coming out of it makes it like a cauldron from which stars emerge. An eye popping piece, and a very creative treatment of a tried-and-true phrase. (The phrase is ironic, but your piece has real tempest written all over it.)

Thanks. Sometimes our world seems like this image, doesn't it? Mustn't forget all the wonderful and calm things also though.
