Hi, from South Texas.
I like to swim, play cards and play on this computer with all sorts of programs. I am also an avid reader, mostly fiction.
I am glad you stopped by.....hope you will take time to look at my gallery. As a side note, I am honored to have been chosen as Artist of the Month for December 2022. Thanks to all that voted.

And I thought he was answering a pile of love letters... :-)

Ah, you could be correct. Juggling that many women in your life might produce the same expression. LOL Thanks for the comment.

This is literally my nightmare lol. Just hopefully he doesn't spill any of those coffees on his taxes or else he'll be in tears.

Thank you for the comment.

I do mine on the computer, less clutter and allegedly quicker & easier that way. Still a right pain, though, so I can sympathize with the poor guy.
Maybe he needs a few good love letters to cheer him up. ;-)
ladylake
I do mine on the computer also. Doesn't take too long if you don't have too much to input. lol Thanks for the comment.

Very nice. With all those papers, I guess he should be a little stressed. I could massage his shoulders.
ladylake
He might like that. Thanks for the comment.

Again I'm going backwards (!)...but hey, it's tax time. I love this piece! You got all the wild unkempt and tediously felt detail of someone who wanted to be done with this stuff days ago, but didn't come close. It's serious, but funny to everyone who's been there. (I just came from there, don't ask...) Your treatment is very graphic---you got a painterly feel, almost like gouache or even oil. I love the swaths of color. And it's also almost a cartoon (while also being photographic). Your postwork is perfect for the subject, in other words. And again that wild Sunbeam piece: It certainly fits the unkempt high energy feel of your image. I always wondered, if one peeked into the traditional creation story (in Genesis), and saw God in heaven before saying 'let there be light', if we wouldn't stumble upon a room like this; with God muttering, "how in the world will I ever turn this into a cosmos...help!!!!" I wonder if creation wasn't preceded by interminable ruffling of papers...Your angle is perfect: It lets us sink into the room...perfect.

Thanks again, Mark, for the comment. Always brightens my world. :-)
