Great job. I too really like the water people. I also like the lattice work 3d effect and lighting.

Cassie, angel, this is a masterpiece. One of your bests, but also one of the best ever displayed in the gallery imho. If the discussion had at least one "purpose", and this purpose could possibly be to inspire you in creating such a work, well, it was indeed one of the most pleasing events ever happened in the forum. I cannot get enough of this one. THANK YOU :)

Thank you everyone, especially dearest Meli hugs. I should post more of where I'm coming from with this image - The main idea is based on 3D printers. I figured that the chemical combination of the natural componants (silicone, water, sea water with its many minerals, and light) would be similar to what would be used to 'print'...the crab should be included too L The top water woman is representative of the data, the bottom the replicated 'print'. The flower is an Angel's Trumpet. Used in many different forms over the world for medicinal purposes, it is very toxic and drug users have been known to overdose on it. I thought it made a fine lampshade ;)

This is just perfect, SO beautiful! The imagery fits so well together, and holds many of my favourite artistic elements. It has depth, and the reflections from the water, the texture to that and the sand. The lattice work really seems to round out of the screen. I really love the entire concept, it's wonderful work:D

You really get a sense of that wet sand feel looking at this, and I love the water people underneath, reminds me a little of some of those tribal myths about the Earth mother and Sky father actually, and how they mankind is made up of all four elements. That's something that your art is really good at doing, sweetie - being interpreted in so many different ways and inspiring others, because this picture has just done that for me.

I love your mind Cass... I can only imagine the hours that went into this enormous hugs :-)
