They moved from the briefing room to the main command deck and stared at the screen, waiting for an additional message and a visual on the approaching vessel.
"Defensive batteries at the ready, Captain."
"Very well." She gave a curt nod. "Hopefully, we won't need them."
They had been down this road many times, even recently in this region of space.
