The large insect like creature reared up onto its legs as a piercing screech echoed through the valley. It then rushed forward and leaped into the air, pushing itself even higher for a moment before plunging towards the ground below. An intense rage filled its very being. Its eyes focused on the hair covered creature that now charged in its direction. Driven by instinct, it did not consider consequences; life or death. It had been challenged, and it responded in kind. This was not the direction I had intended on going. I already had the story and images planned. Two critters changed all that. my own imagination has taken me on a trip now.
