Description
The dark skinned officer moved down the ramp, raising his hands to either side.
"The Old warrior, is dead." He shook his head slowly. "No trace of the slave. But items have been taken from the supply cabinets."
"She could not have gotten far then." Gavik sighed softly. "No matter though. We are here til she is found."
"Captain Gavik," The second officer started with growing concern. "It is not advisable that we remain here. Should the Federation detect..." He was suddenly cut off by the enraged outburst from Gavik.
"This is the third time you have brought my orders into conflict!" He yelled loudly. "Once more, and it shall occur no more!"
"My lord," The dark skinned one stated evenly from a kneeling position.
"What now!" Gavik spun, still enraged and stared down at the lieutenant.
"Foot prints. Too small to be any of ours." He glanced up and into the distance. "They seem to trail off towards those hill ranges."
Gavik drew a slow deep breath, struggling to control his anger. "Very good, Lieutenant. Then we proceed in the same direction." He glanced over his shoulder with a hard glare. "Unless you wish to argue that point too?" It was a challenging question.
"No, my Lord." The second officer responded stiffly.
Gavik growled through clenched teeth as he gestured to the lieutenant. "Lead the way."
"Yes, My Lord." The Officer moved from kneeling to closely following the tracks in the sand. Gavik and the rest of the party then started several feet behind.

Navarre has the advantage of knowing the location of the Klingons, and the Klingons don't even know he is there. This is going to be very interesting!

Wouldn't want Gavik for my boss. Where are the bugs ... or other beasties ... Great development of the argument.
