Description
The plan swings into action.... Volume 4 of skytown nears its conclusion.
This was an interesting learning curve, experimenting to get fx "in camera" to minimize postwork.... using the layered image editor to set multiple emissions layers made for some unexpected results that I'm rather pleased with.

Really excellent and professional work on this panel, Joe! The flow of the speech bubbles is perfect. Well done, sir!
It's always a learning curve - even with the simple 5-panel layout I use, trying to figure where to put the scene elements and figures, FX, and bubbles where they all flow well and don't interfere with other elements is always interesting.

Thanks Rod... I agree, layout is a much underappreciated part of comic book art, and in many ways the msot difficult. I find most pages i make go through several iterations, editing text to be able to shrink bubbles, mirroring layouts so that key visual elements dont get hidden, etc etc. Sometimes the layout takes longer than the rendering!
