~Dana Scully II~
And now for one of the most famous redheads, my stylized take on FBI special agent, Dr. Dana Katherine Scully, a medical doctor from the "The X Files" (1993) TV series, played by Gillian Leigh Anderson (a blonde).
The fun about Scully was her skepticism, bringing a balance to the supernatural side of the story. Another one was the fact that Gillian hated everything about Scully, complaining that she was too conservative. Being a feminist activist, Gillian opposed even Scully's hair style and formal attire. Ironically, she kept playing the role even after Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) left the series.
Being a natural blonde, Gillian had to stop tinting her hair red after so many years due to hair damage, opting for wearing a wig for the last 2 seasons. Just like the most famous blonde (Marilyn Monroe) was a brunette, the most famous redhead was a blonde. Nonetheless, hats off for Gillian Anderson for playing so convincingly a character she hated for so long.
