Description
With its state-of-the-art-sensors it didn't take Procyon very long to track down the stolen ship. It was sitting quietly in a desert valley with no signs of life, movement or energy emissions, as if it was abandoned. Captain Flynt decided to go down for a better look.
The scout team left the shuttle for a closer inspection when they noticed a distant figure approaching. It was a robot. Flynt shouted an order, "Let's get back to the ship, fast! We'll send a full report and let the colony handle the rest."
But it was too late. Their shuttle was no longer under their control and soon they were surrounded by robots.

With sensors like that...could they not have detected the thief of their ship ??? lol
Cool scene and superb narrative...the robots, a glimpse to future relationships of human and AI ?

Everyone knew the thief was the robots. During the chaos and destruction they hijacked the ship and vanished into space at FTL speed. Soon after, Flynt arrived and was asked to track them down and he did.
