Description
This was my first model with Carrara. My expierence is really with Bryce and that is what I used to render this model. There is so much about Carrara that I have yet to learn but it is certainly FUN practicing. This model is not to scale it was done by eye-balling a three view drawing. This is a straight render with no post. Please enjoy and thank you for viewing.

Nice P-47 Thunderbolt! Looks great, I like the top render the best. You may want to add a pilot though :-D Not too many P-40s were remote controlled in WW2! Great job!

That's one helluva first effort! Congratulations. I'd take the stripes off the rudder tho'. By the time the bubble canopy came out, the Army Air Corp has abandoned those markings.

How did you light the top one? The plane seems to integrate really well with the background. Nice work!

About the lighting in the top pic. There are three feathered spots. Two on opposite sides of the fuselage in front of the plane at about 10:00 high. The third is at the same height on the left side rear (pilots left). All lights have a orange color taken from the horizons color and are aimed approx. at the engine cowling. Thank you all for your encourging comments.
