Description

Merci pour votre visite et vos commentaires It was already late in the office of this small publishing house, the young boss had come to see if the secretary had managed to copy the last pages of a manuscript that he needed to annotate. He had to diplomatically ask the author for a few touch-ups before deciding whether to print it. It was indeed one of those romantic romances that were written too often. Having complete confidence in the skills of the young woman, whom he considered almost as his assistant, he did not mind the nonchalance with which she greeted him more and more often. That evening, she was waiting for him while smoking a cigarette, he approached the typewriter and turned the rollers to better read the last paragraph of the sheet, he had this astonishing ability to be able to read any text backwards without difficulty. Concentrating on his reading, he did not notice that the young woman was pointing her cigarette holder, like Cupid the arrows of his bow. Arriving at the last word of this passage particularly daring in the sensuality of its writing, the red rose to his cheeks, he understood then that the secretary had rewritten this passage for him. When he looked up at her, he was greeted by an indescribable smile. Thank you for the visit and your comments

Wonderful imagery. Smoking is very politically incorrect, and of course, totally unhealthy; but, a long cigarette holder is such a great prop for building a scene.
