Sometimes it's good to be nervous Isla, you are taking a completely new path, it would be more concerning if you weren't a little bit anxious about that? Not being afraid of something so different to everything that you have ever known would make you an idiot, and you don't strike me as being a fool. Or how could you think that you aren't meant to be a Grazer when you know no other way? Yes it will take some time for you to learn but other Woodfaring children have been walking the forest since they took their first steps and tonight is only your first walk into the darkness, so don't be so hard on yourself? Maybe when the sun rises you will realise that the forest is where you have belonged your entire life? Or maybe you will learn that the life of a Grazer wandering endlessly in disenchantment in the meadows and pastures is just what you are, whether you like that or not?
