Description

So , I finally managed to rebuild my runtime (and the rest of my system for that matter)after the "upgrade" to Win 11 fried everything... My very fist render in DAZ (back in the DS3/3Delight days) was a dark winged figure done for a Halloween challenge on another site. She's has made several appearances since then and been updated a few times as figures, software and render engines evolved; So for Halloween this year she reappears in G8.1 guise, quite different now from the original blue-skinned, batwinged V4 of all that time ago (you can see theoriginal figure in "Mortality" on one of the early pages in my gallery). All Hallows Eve and memorial for the dead seems more appropriate than ever given the dark times we find ourselves in...

Excellent work on this wonderful and slightly (LOL) scary scene, Joe! and a big congratulations on AOM for November!!

And I can sooooooo relate to the "rebuilding" runtimes and file systems. I'm still working on getting everything re-organized into something resembling a logical storage system where I can actually FIND things when I need them.

I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather just buy a new computer with the latest OS version rather than upgrade the OS and spend the next 6 months fixing all the problems it generates. That's why I have 4 of the damn things! 🤣

Yeah, thats on the cards , but waiting for the xmas sales as I need a much better GPU and those things are more expensive than the actual computers these days!
