Hello, All.
I wanted to let everyone know I’ll be (mostly) gone until at least the end of November. Mostly due to a ton of work I need to do here, and computer issues with this “main” computer being so damned s….l…o….w most of the time. I’m having to restart it 3 – 4 times a day. Last time I ran MS Defender it found a Trojan and “quarantined” it. But performance is still abysmal. I will be visiting Microcenter this weekend to kick its RAM up to 64GB (it has only 16 now) and invest in a good antivirus; Norton or McAffee. And I’ll have a chat with their tech folks as well.
Now that my jaw has healed, I need to get started with the dentist on getting the other issues taken care of.
And…. I just need to take a break from stuff for a while. I’m tired all the time, and my depression keeps wanting to “F” with me. And what happened a week ago didn’t help any. To be 100% truthful, it hit me like an out-of-control freight train. I’m dealing with that the best I can; it’s nothing I can do anything about. Hope you all understand. And apologies to any I may have offended with my political views.
I appreciate all the support and friendships with all of you! And I WILL be back. And the first thing I’ll be doing is getting TNA rolling again. I know many of you miss the story, and I miss creating it. I’m doing some re-writing on the story, and it will head in a bit of a different directions. Stay tuned.
I have a couple weeks’ worth of catching up to do and will be doing so as I can.
In the meantime, I wish all of you happiness, good health, good times, and lots of creativity. Stay safe, and I’ll be back as soon as I can.

Take the break you need; I'll look forward to seeing what you do when you return. BTW, something that has really helped my mental health for the past several years is that I have made a point of not looking at any political commentary or any but local news.

And you have alit leaves (in greens and turquoise blues) to light up the deep shadow. It's a late night pic, with deep crimson reds, and the feeling of a deep summer night as your model (amalthiea) lures us in...you're taking time off, but your image invites us to come in...beautifully done, Rod...
Take your break, rest, replenish. Contemplate the fate of the world...I wish you rest. I commented (finally) on your last two stories, so I'm at least catching up a little. (My last frame was an office blowing up---thanks for leaving THAT in my head for the next several weeks...you couldn't have ended with a street fair?) I hope you solve your computer problems, and your health issues (incl dental), and get some deserved rest. And have a terrific thanksgiving too! Thanks for all your commitment, all your art, and your spirit and great comments. I wish you a replenishing time off...
