You might be right ... it could be over, but for a different reason.

The corrupt state propaganda machine fought real change like mad and lost, because enough citizens realized how much worse their standard of living got, together with the rest of the world. But the damage the elites left behind is permanent, turning friends into enemies and even splitting apart families. These psychopaths turned a respected and admired builder into a worse-than-Hitler demon the moment he wanted to make peace with Russia ... just like they destroy any doctor that truly wants to prevent cancer. This is the result of gangster capitalism that profits from endless wars and diseases. My guess is that they'll start a nuclear war before the new administration has time to make peace, and they'll blame it on Russia, like they always blame someone else.

I'm with you Rod. Trump said he'll stop the wars in the Ukraine and the Middle East before taking over the office. We'll see how inflation goes when he starts up those tariffs. The way you make peace with Putin is by doing what he wants and staying out of his way. The election result is a worry for most of the world, because a lot of people like America and Americans. God help you now the tantrum-throwing child is going to be in charge again. I don't like to think where this is going to lead, but the America that people used to respect is possibly going to die. I hope not, but I see little chance that your nation will come out of another four years of Trump unscathed.

i agree with adorety. We will survive another 4 years of Donald Trump. The United States has survived much worse than him. The worry is that the Re[ublicans in Congress who have drunk the the Kool-Aid will try to make Trump into a dictator. I fear for Ukraine and rest assured that Trump will NOT be able to solve the wars before he takes office. Promises much, but delivers little.

Most of the rest of the world is shocked. Here in Europe experts already start discussing how trading and businesses can survive thinking of the expected tariffs DT promised.

I've been looking at several of these trending images. Election's over, and everyone's acting like a bunch of gloomy pussies (a quote from Sound of Music, though if anyone takes it differently, that's on them). Everyone's all Oh no! The evil one cometh, sub-creatures! Trump the Drumpferian, Drumpf the Destroyer! Vulghis Zildrohar, the traveler has come! CHOOSE AND PERISH!

I live in the US, in Cali if you need to know. I've had to listen to all of this for the past year and a half from all sides 24/7 365 the most overheated election EVER. At home. In public. At work. I would have loved to have some sort of artistic refuge to get away from this mess, but no, y'all have to bring it here too.

That is one example of total nonsense! A perfect example of psychological warfare ... to turn good people against someone they want destroyed. I never imagined that my trusted Democratic party I always voted for would be taken over by lying, nasty sociopaths. Meanwhile, it's this new Biden-Harris regime that has imprisoned 1000 protesters, most of whom did absolutely no harm at all, or weren't even present at the protest. Then they begin spreading non-stop lies of the most toxic, incendiary nature day after day, month after month, such as 'he's worse than Hitler' knowing it will provoke angry men to try to kill him. Then they use the entire police state justice system as a weapon to try to destroy someone that threatens their interests.

As for the Ukraine mess, it happened under Biden-Harris!!!! This war could have easily been prevented simply by not breaking a promise and doing nothing ... Instead, the war mongers did everything to provoke the war, including sabotaging a last-minute peace treaty. And when the war finally broke out, many US politicians got very rich from their war investments ... And now the massive profits for the war industry keep rolling in forever and ever ... what a brilliant move!!!!

There remains one thing that as a veteran I can NEVER forgive Trump for: The shameful attack on the Capitol of the USA on January 6th, 2020.

Even though I live in a remote part of the Pacific Ocean, we can still feel your pain. The good news is, Trump is unlikely to be allowed to run for a 3rd term despite a SCOTUS stacked in his favour, but there's still plenty he'll do to game the system.
