Description
Another interesting Class of Objects in the Universe are the Star-Clusters, Groups of little Stars, bound together by the invisible Power of mutual Gravity. They look like Choirs, that gathered to sing or to feast to me. (More on the inaudible Chant of the Stars another Day!)
They come in two Flavours, as more spherical Types like in the Image and flat and open Ones. The first ones are very old and originate from the first Seconds of the Universe. They circle in Orbits around the galactic Center in spledid Isolation and do not care much of the Turmoil in the noisy Galaxies below. (If there was a "below" in the Universe.)
The flat ones exist in the Arms of the Spiral-Galaxies mainly, and are homes to young Stars. All have up to a Million stars and a Diameter of only few Lightyears.
Some of the spherical Clusters are build from and embedded in Gas-Clouds. When the Material is depleted, they shine forth for a While and then expire slowly.
Have a good Day and "shine on"! :)
