Description
~Sexy Chrome~
A tribute to Hajime Sorayama and his chrome-plated female androids that took the world by storm. In 1978, when a friend asked him to make a poster of Star Wars' C-3PO for a Santory presentation, time was short and there were issues with copyright fees, so he was asked to "come up with something". Being a pinup artist from high school and having a background in industrial design, he combined both things, giving birth to his iconic sexy gynoids. This is a testament to his innovative design and multi-disciplinary inspiration. 3D pose and camera set in Poser, exported with my OpenPose plugin, rendered in Stable Diffusion, postwork in PaintShop.

Thank you! Sorayama said in an interview that he took inspiration from the sensual curves of sports cars, which was kind of unexpected. 😁

Thank you! In 2023, Sorayama was commissioned to build a giant sexy robot statue that was displayed in many countries across the world - the largest he ever made. ^___^

Thank you! Sorayama is still popular! He was commissioned just last year (2023) to build a giant 20 ft statue of one of his famous chromed android ladies that has been on display around the world. ^^
