Description
~Erotica Jones~
Erotica Jones is the protagonist of the little known "Stan Lee's Stripperella" (2003) TV series, voiced by Playboy magazine's playmate Pamela Anderson. Jones was a stripper at night and lived a more mundane life by day (depicted here). Her secret life as the super-heroine Stripperella often involved balancing her nocturnal performances as a stripper with her crime-fighting activities. I will try a version of her as Stripperella in full outfit next.
The series was a satire of superheroes, and the irony of it coming from Stan Lee - one of the most iconic creators of traditional superheroes - is part of what makes it so fascinating. As a matter of fact, comedy and satire are not things that come to mind when we think of Stan Lee, but here we are - he was not afraid of taking risks! So much that one of Strippererlla's superpowers was to enlarge her own bosom. LOL

Hehe it's apparent that Stan Lee has designed the character around Pamela Anderson and even got her to voice it. Pam was a notorious sex symbol of that period after posing for the Playboy magazine and later bouncing her assets on Baywatch. 😁

I have watched that series too, and I loved that weird sense of humor. In one episode Stripperella even meets her alter ego Pamela Anderson. And if I remember correctly Stan Lee has an appearance himself. Great tribute to that series! Can't wait for her appearance as Stripperella! LOL

Thank you! Stan Lee had this tradition of making cameos in his own productions, so I would be surprised if he didn't this time! And yes - a Stripperella version in full costume is coming next! 😁

I love this! When I saw the thumb, the first thing I thought of was Pam Anderson - she's a legend! Stan Lee is, also.

Thank you! Indeed, and that's why I wanted to make homage to Stripperella - it was one of these rare moments where Stan and Pam were in the same sentence. I will be posting her in the full Stripperella costume next. ^___^
