Description

"Marston Mats". No, not the pilot's handle, but the name of the PSP, the metal perforated steel panels that make up the runway and work areas of the sandy (and/or muddy) tropical environment of the airbase. I was testing the mats and texturing and I went down the rabbit hole. The aircraft is a P-40E Warhawk pictured in the Burma theater before being given the personal nose art. Blender, DazStudio, PSe and noai.
