Description
I modelled this in MAX and textured it with basic MAX maps. I then worked over the render in Photoshop using a graphics tablet, adding additional texture and details, and trying to make it look more natural.
I'd eventually like to combine hand drawn images and 3D enironments like this for childrens book Illustrations. This is the first time I've tried this method and I'm just getting to grips with the graphics tablet, so any tips or advice would be most appreciated.

Awesome work The sky color is the only thing that out of place but it could be my computer. the sky seem to have a weee bit to much green it it.

Thanks everyone for you kind remarks. Finder50, I think you're right about the sky being a wee-bit too green (pun intended? :)). I was trying for a slighty foreboding atmosphere and maybe over did it. Stu.

this is very good, just maby, i dont know if it would look good or not, but just maby try a bump map on the tower textures? i'm not sure if it will help, but maby would not be a bad idear to experiment? IMO,keep up the good work!!!
