Description

This is a newer version of 'The Old Tower' (see My Gallery). Made in 3D Studio Max 5 with editable meshes and lots of extruding. It's basically the same model as the 'Old Tower', rendered from a similar angle, with some new walls and a second tower, but this time with no Photoshop touch-ups. I do intend to give it a go over in Photoshop soon, I'll post the end results here. Thanks for viewing and your comments and suggestions are welcome as always. Stu.

Nice atmosphere, the model is simple and need more detail but the scene is very realistic, ... is very good work.

Love the picture, and i know how long it must have taken , good work, lets see more of the castle though would be a shame to not use the mesh you created

Thanks for the great response. I'll probably be doing some more work to the 3D model - adding extra windows, buttresses and maybe some sort of portcullis and gate tower - before I take it into Photoshop. I'll be sure to post the results here, Stu.

Keep going, it will be fabulous when you've finished. I expect it is a real labour of love. If only those not in the know knew how much time is spent on works such as yours?
