I think you should add a new section conneting the upper body with the lower body. As of the current model, he doesn't seem to be able to bend, and as such, couldn't jump or run fast. Therefore I suggest to add a section like the neck section to that part of the model. :)

Sweet now keep the same shape and starting size of the ridge on his head and carry it down it's spine, getting smaller as you travel. Great Job!!
