Description
Although I have some 3D app experience, this is my first Terragen render. The landscape comes from a DEM map I found on the 'net, and the lighting/texturing is my own...I don't know if it's any good or not, but if you folks have any suggestions for improvements, please let me know!

Welcome. This is fantastic for a first TG picture. I really shows that you have experience from other apps, in that you make it look very with simple effects (very good POV, surface distribution and light). It also looks very detailed - is this rendered with the registered version of TG by any chance? Sky looks a bit like a standard TG sky but fits very good to the scene here :-)

Thankyou for your kind comments - it's just done with the regular "personal use only" version of Terragen...the latest one (v0.8.68?). Seems like a good app and I'm going to enjoy creating some scenery!
