Very nice, Feri, did you use fresnel to get the velvet effect on the horses?? OOPS, just realized that it's not called Fresnel in MAX, maybe falloff????

I'm surprised this isn't getting more comments...man, those horses actually look fuzzy.

thanks guys! yes, used fresnel reflection in vray, that's what made the horses look like velvet... pretty neat, "discovered" by accident :-)

my previous post: Wow! Really nice, except for some AA issues. I think VRay could produce much better AA. to ivo-k: AA=Anti-aliasing. For me, it seems that I can 'feel the contours' of some objects, which might come from less AA. And as far as I know one of the best parts of VRay is the powerful AA (compared to finalRender). But this feeling might also come from the strong illumination. Anyway, really nice image.

Looks very nice! But the wood on the front of the seat on that beautifully modeled wagon, and on a few small other parts is not textured as well as it could be. Other than that it is very well done. I love the horses!

WOW, superb work. Have you thought of putting a depth of field on this image to fade out the background slightly?

Absolutely perfect! I especially like the way You managed to make this velvet texture. Fantastique! One can say 'unbelievable' if he hasn't seen Your other works... Though really the artworks You post @ R'osity are becoming more and more closer to something fantastic! There seems to be really no limits for perfection even for You, Ferenc!
