Description

Loosely based on a photo I got from a friend... this town is in the western part of Hungary, near the Austrian border. Rendered with Vray in about 50 minutes, ~500 000 polygons. Textures by 3DTotal Textures, postwork in Photoshop. Tree: Onyx TreePro. Thanks for viewing!

Gorgeous. I noticed You like this original angle in Your compositions. They look very interesting and even more expressive, though I don't understand why...

Fantastic as usual Feri, but I'm a little confused as to what's going on at the top of the render where the two walls meet. Is that an overhang there or does the view proceed up the roofline? The shadows would suggest an overhang yet the perspective tricks the eye otherwise. Oh, who cares, It's wonderful!

Thank you all, so much! Dandavis: that's a "balcony"... many apt. buildings have these "hanging walkways" inside. Mostly these buildings are U shaped, or a closed square. It might be called "gangway", but I'm not sure. This is almost unknown in the US, mostly you can see them in New Orleans, but there they're placed outside of the building. If it still doesn't make any sense, just forget about it, I can't explain any better :-) But, here is a link to a photo I took in the building I used to live (Budapest): http://www.pbase.com/image/8731032
