BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

I'm without words. The sunrays remind me of Mayan paintings. Symbolic and otherwordly.

A lone family of sea serpents, travels toward the Golden Coast. Searching for a new and greener life. Their hopes are not diminished, as the golden sun sets low on the horizon. The gleaming rays stream out, as a reminder to them. Beckoning them onward, like steel fingers.

Sailing toward the sunset the waning sun beckons the shapes of a new age to follow him The golden barges sails toward a more real future

Has an ominous feel to it. Like the sun has grown cold and metalic. A marvelous image.
