Wow, It really hard to make a bryce image not look at all like it was made in bryce (more like a painting) and you show this perfectly. i agree w/ the message also. (when are we gonna learn???) excellent work.

Peace on Earth is always a nice expression, but honestly, what DO WE DO with the bad guys in the world?

Wonderful to see your work again here in the Bryce gallery, Rolf! A beautiful image, top-level as usual, I'm amazed as everytime I see something from you. Colors, composition... everything's wonderful. And I love it even more for the message and the title. Thanks for posting it! ___ [A side comment: Who decides who are the bad guys? Who entitled that first who the right to decide? Fact is: millions Iraqi already dead, more thousands to come. Who is the bad guy? -- So, welcome any effort, even in an art site like this one, to express a flicker of common sense.]

I agree with the message and the title but I don't agree with your image, although it is striking visually, it does not convey the message correctly. It's too "pretty". The aftermath of a war would not look like this.

Beautiful render, I've missed your work. I disagree with the message, however. We'd all like world peace, but realistically that will never happen. Saddam needs to be taken out before he becomes another Hitler.

Beautiful image. I'm not really certain if the message is Iraq specific, or if it's anti-war in general, broad terms. I'm against a war in Iraq, primarily because I believe it's a politically motivated, massive PR coup staged by a babbling simpleton and his equally mindless drones who are desparate to stay in office another term (not to mention diverting attention away from the fact that the U.S. economy is circling the drain). As for anti-war in the general sense, I'd have to say it's interesting in the abstract, but when humankind loses that hard agression that defines us- that biblical desire to 'smite our enemies'- will we still really be human, or a race of sweet, wide-eyed, innocent, loving sheep with no desire to advance any further?

One thing is for sure...if the world's leaders took time out to view your fantastic artwork(along with the incredible work of so many others here at renderosity}it would certainly take their minds off of war for awhile.
