Description

Finally finished (mostly!) the Corellian Gunship (Cougar) for the SW fan film project - still needs a working walk ramp and and landing gear, but after 2 days of mapping and texture painting it's ready for it's first animation duties. :)

Looks really good, but perhaps still a little clean. I suppose it really depends how close a shot of it you'll be using, and how long for / what angle.

Thanks guys! - DeZ - I'll post a link to the teaser trailer with a short piece of animation next week! - Nexus - Clean? - I thought it was looking pretty grimy!? - someone else commented that perhaps more 'grit' in the bump would help, so maybe Ill just try adding some DirtyNut in the diffuse channel.

Indeed, a bit of a dirty bump would help. this way looks like a game model.

Absolutely stunning. I do agree that some scuffmarks in a bump map would enhance this even more. But is it already a fantastic model.

Sorry I skipped the WIP and went straight to this one. Absolutley wonderful modeling! The texture is very nice! One tiny suggestion, from a novice, (IMHO) it could use more "Bump". The texture is fantastic, with the carbon scorching etc. (Better than my SS textures) but the surface seems too smooth? Anyway, it does not detract from the superb modeling! Wonderful!!!
