Description
I had been playing around trying to kick start my creativity again after xmas, and started creating a new woodland image with my tree prop and gnarly texture set.
I fancied doing a scene with Gollum from LOTR, and to aid with visualising the scene, I found a photo from the film and comped it in as a guide, I liked the outcome, so here it is!
*Updated* - The comped picture of Gollum has since been removed due to questions over copyright, and will therefore remain absent until replaced with a near identical digitally painted one! ;)
Meanwhile, work on a Poser Gollum continues...slowly! :)
Rendered in Bryce, Photoshop for the comping and DOF effect.

Adam, without one inch of exaggerating, this is the most impressive render I have seen for months. The realism is just stunning and Gollum fits in your scene really well. Please tell me you have a a bigger version of this and you're willing to give me a copy so I can use it as a wallpaper!

Wow! - thanks muchly people! - There seems some confusion though - as I said, this Gollum is the 'real' one from the film, it's just an edited photo I comped in to my Bryce scene as a visual guide for either my own digitally painted version or the Poser one I am playing with. :)

Aye, it's a beautiful render, but something more original would be cooler? And a POSER Gollum? At what, one-1,000th the Movie Gollum's polygons? I think you'd do better to leave him in the movies...
